Buyers were waiting long for the launch of new 2017 Tesla Model X since from early 2015, later which was delayed to late 2015 but now we have the official declaration from the company’s CEO Elon Musk. All-new 2017 Tesla X will be launched in September 2016. Tesla has declared that they will manufacture new Tesla X on the same platform used for Tesla Model S previously. This time, tesla model will be slightly longer and taller compared to its previous model as Model S. Officials from Tesla claims that new Tesla X will be the safest car on the road, and it will get 5-star safety ratings in all categories as per Tesla’s crash test.

2017 Tesla Model X – Interior and Exterior Design
Tesla has incorporated all the exclusive features in its new Tesla X. A 17-inch centre touchscreen has been installed in its cabin that integrates navigation, communications, media and cabin control into one standard interface. Apart from that, most of the features are installed on the dashboard along with voice-activation so that the drivers focus completely on the road. This SUV will accommodate seven adults in its three rowed seat arrangements. The air inside the cabin has been freed from bacteria, pollution and pollen with the advanced air-circulation system installed.
Exterior:
CEO of Tesla hybrid claims asserts that Tesla X will be provided with a new level of functionality that none of the SUV’s have as of now. The use of large glass of panoramic windshield will deliver a supreme outlook of the sky and stars above. Along with that, use of solar-tinted and obstruction-free glass will provide crystal clear vision to the driver and its passengers. Talking about the doors of 2017 Tesla Model X vehicle, each of the doors is fortified with inductive, capacitive and sonar sensors that would help to monitor the surroundings and will avoid different obstacles around the SUV. Tesla X comes with a system of automated opening and closing of the door; as soon as driver enters it will start working.

2017 Tesla Model X – Engine Specifications and Fuel Economy
All-new model of Tesla X will feature an electric engine in two different configurations- 90D and P90D. Both the engines incorporate a pair of motors in which one power the rear one and other set powers the three front wheels. As per the claims from tesla suv, P90D engine will deliver 762 horsepower and 713 lb-ft of torque in total. Power distribution will be monitored by a computer which ensures that driver gets 250 miles on the road. 2017 Tesla Model X will deliver 90 mpg in city and 94 mpg on highways. The difference with its competitors is about its speed they offer. Tesla X can produce 260 horsepower in back and front, and most amazingly can reach 60 mph in just five sec. with its first engine and later one can generate 500 horsepower and reach 60 mph in just 3.8 sec. Top speed of this car has been recorded as 155 mph.

2017 Tesla Model X – Release Date and Price
Tesla X is supposed to hit the market in the late 2016 or early 2017. Considering the price of this vehicle, nothing has been officially declared as of now, but there are some speculations. The higher trims might hit the mark of $150,000. As per the sources report Tesla will launch Model X in two different trims which comprise:
2017 Tesla Model X 90D – $132,000.
2017 Tesla Model X P90D – $ 142,000.
Audi R8 E-tron and Q8 E-tron would be possible competitor for Tesla model X.
